Task:
Development of the Veteran Reintegration Program website for IREX, with a strong focus on inclusive accessibility to ensure equal access for all users, including individuals with disabilities.

Solution:
To create a truly accessible and user-friendly platform, I began with in-depth research on inclusive web design standards and best practices.
Next, I developed a site map, ensuring a logical and intuitive structure that simplifies navigation. Based on this, I created wireframes to establish the layout and functional elements of each page, maintaining a clear and user-centric approach.
The design phase prioritized accessibility, with carefully selected color schemes and typography that meet WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards, ensuring readability for users with visual impairments. Additionally, I incorporated an audio playback feature, allowing users to listen to articles instead of reading them, making content more accessible to those with visual or cognitive challenges.
To validate the user experience, I built an interactive prototype, testing it across various devices and assistive technologies to ensure smooth functionality and inclusivity.
The final result is a website that not only provides valuable resources for veterans but also upholds the principles of inclusivity, making information accessible and easy to engage with for all users.
